Our Two Year Anniversary

The Sixth Level — The Future of Leadership

Two years ago, The Sixth Level began as a question, not a program:

What if leadership were defined by mutuality, connection, and relational intelligence rather than hierarchy and control?

What started as a book became a framework, then a lens—a way to see what leaders often sense but haven’t yet articulated. As Marshall Goldsmith said, “The Sixth Level is the future of leadership.”

Ideas That Activate

Across these two years, the framework has moved from pages to practice. Articles, events, and conversations have carried the ideas into boardrooms, peer advisory off-sites, family retreats where decisions are made. Leaders recognize themselves in it—not as a theory to implement, but as a way of engaging.

The most revealing insight: awareness spreads faster than instructions. Once teams see leadership this way, it reshapes behavior, dialogue, and priorities—transformation through the ethic of care.

Leadership That Reaches In

This year, The Sixth Level reached wider audiences—conferences, podcasts, panels, retreats. The response is remarkably consistent: the room changes. Guards drop. Conversation deepens. Attention shifts from precedent toward presence, from control toward impact, from self-interest toward self-in-relation, relational awareness.

Business is personal. Leadership is relational. Growth is measured not by scale, but by depth and integrity.

For organizations ready to move beyond conventional models, The Sixth Level offers both a solution and a pathway.

The Work That’s Taken Root

Our message has traveled across the world and across industries. Words that once lived only on our pages now live in meeting rooms, hallway conversations, and in the way people choose to lead. People see themselves in The Sixth Level—and are ecstatic to realize that the leadership they’ve been practicing finally has a name.

Each piece has been a reminder: awareness is contagious.

When the Work Speaks Back

This year brought larger stages—conferences, podcasts, panels, leadership retreats—and audiences eager to find others leading this way. Each time, something familiar happens: the room exhales. Armor drops. The conversation deepens.

Suddenly, leadership becomes about humanity, justness, and the courage required to lead differently. Business is personal. It is relational.

If you’re reading this, your organization is ready for that dialogue—and we’re ready to listen.

Building a Digital Home for a Living Philosophy

We’ve rebuilt our website. Every page reflects who we’ve become: more focused, more aligned, and alive with purpose. Visit our homepage to explore our growing ecosystem—The Sixth Level book, conversations, consulting, and community.

The Book That Started a Movement

The Sixth Level began as an exploration of what happens when leaders grow beyond ego, compliance, and title.

Every book shared extends the dialogue. Every reader is part of the movement to lead with the ethic of care, not dominance.

What Comes Next

This next year is about momentum. We are working more deeply with teams, executives, and organizations ready to evolve from the inside out.

The book builds the foundation. Speaking engagements spread the message. Consulting helps translate it into practice.

If your company or leadership team is ready for that work, we’re here for the conversation that begins it.

Closing Reflection

This work asks something of all of us:

To stay connected, to stay curious, and to keep toggling (Chapter 3) at the intersection of the empathetic and the analytic.

Thank you for reading, listening, reflecting, questioning. You are part of the network that keeps this movement growing by putting The Sixth Level framework into practice.

Here’s to the next level of evolution.
